PRAISE and prayer for:
- the Church of the Nazarene in Cambodia – a country in southeastern Asia, bordering the Gulf of Thailand and between Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos. Even through a challenging missions setting and a lack of resources, God is transforming lives as the church makes disciples who make disciples. The Cambodia District was first organized by a local pastor in 1992, who migrated to the United States. However, the first work was not very successful because of the social and political situation at the time. The district was reorganized in 2010 with 13 churches. – Today — 29 Fully Organized Churches + 45 Not yet Organized Churches; 2,260 Members; and 50 District Licensed Pastors
- the incredible growth of churches that we are seeing across the district. Despite several challenging situations. In 2021, churches baptized 500 new believers and started 17 new works.
- the opportunity to keep preaching the gospel, loving our neighbors, and bringing the gospel to new areas despite all the challenges that Cambodia has faced.
- the faithfulness of the church to the work of Christ despite the challenges of yet another crisis-level food shortage due to extensive drought, flooding, and of course, COVID-19
- for the lifting of restrictions in many nations. People are joyously meeting to plan, work and rejoice in the love of Jesus
